There were five of us in the large Salon, and the accommodation, staff, service, and everything else were superb. The room was clean, nicely decorated, and had something special about it. We couldn't have asked for a better place or location for enjoying Hamburg. If you want somewhere different, this is the place. Really lovely. The one thing missing was a big mirror in that lovely large Salon, but that's a minor point. I fully recommend Hadley's Bed & Breakfast.

The garden made the evening for us. The restaurant sits among apartment buildings that share a garden, and it was really pleasant to eat out there. We got a table straight away in the back garden on a Friday around 8 pm. It looked about half full, perhaps because of the COVID situation at the time. The staff were very friendly, and the Käsespätzle was good. I can't judge how authentic it was, but I enjoyed it. I think each dish was €12.50. We only went for dinner, so I can't comment on staying there as a guest. I'd definitely recommend it.

The crumpets were a real treat, and there was a first-class choice of cheese and bread. The brunch was really high quality, and even the coffee was better than I expected.

The key box took a little effort to find, but the rooms were very nice. Staff were super flexible, and there was an excellent range of teas.

Breakfast was plentiful and good, and the beds were so comfortable, with down duvets. You don't find those everywhere these days. The accommodation itself is stylish and comfortable, with individually decorated rooms that would be lovely to spend a rainy day in. We'll definitely come back.
