Lauenburger Hof

The rooms are plain but do the job. The price is good and the staff are kind.

A cheap, simple room with a warm welcome. The shower and toilet are outside the room.

The service was poor.

There were five of us and all we needed was somewhere to sleep, so the price was about right. It was musty, the Wi-Fi cost extra despite being advertised otherwise, and the hotel restaurant downstairs seemed not to exist. They’d carelessly covered wall stains with odd pieces of mismatched wallpaper. The bedding zipper wouldn’t close, and one bed had particle board under the mattress instead of slats. The owners didn’t seem to care about anything, so no one minded that an extra person slept with us. It was ugly, but at least our room wasn’t really dirty.
