I came back for three nights after staying here once over 20 years ago. The breakfast was rich and varied, better than what I usually find at German hotels. It’s also in an excellent spot, within walking distance of both the train station and the town hall. The rooms are small, with a container-style design that looks nice but isn’t very practical. The elevator takes so long that taking the stairs is often quicker.

The nautical theme in the rooms was a lovely touch, all aboard! It’s a great hotel, though a little way from the station, about a 10 minute walk.

The room didn’t come with complimentary drinking water, which was a bit disappointing. The hotel itself was acceptable, but getting to it wasn’t very convenient since it’s quite far from the train station.

Emily, the manager, was great fun and really made us feel special. The rest of the staff were friendly and helpful too, and the hotel is in a reasonably good area. The bed was very comfortable, and the container-style wardrobe and fridge were fun and unusual. In the 25-28 degrees C heat, though, the air conditioning didn’t do much. The lift was broken and always busy, which made getting to our floor difficult.

Mr. Kumar and Waad hagi gave me the best service. They treated me with dignity, and their service was extraordinary. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to be treated well.
