Our connecting flight was cancelled, so we suddenly needed somewhere to stay. We had no luggage, clothes, or toiletries, but the staff were first class and found us more than the hygiene essentials we needed, even an adaptor for our phones. They also pointed us toward shops where we could buy clothes. The room was superb, with a lovely dressing area and a stunning bathroom, and we had a fabulous night’s sleep. Tea and coffee were there in the morning. The staff also suggested beautiful places to visit, and with everything under a foot of snow, it all felt magical. Amazing hotel, first-class staff. We’ll definitely return to this hotel in beautiful Hamburg. Thank you!

We finished our Christmas stay with a cute gift and water for the trip home, a lovely touch. Earlier, Denisa and Raul had welcomed us warmly and professionally. I’d asked in advance for sightseeing ideas, and when we arrived we were given a city map, a public transport map, and two walking tour maps prepared by Celia from reception. As Titanium members, we got a room upgrade and a welcome amenity. Breakfast was excellent, with lots of options and freshly prepared à la carte dishes. Parking is available, and public transport stops around the hotel make it convenient for exploring. We had a wonderful Christmas visit to Hamburg and will choose this lovely hotel again. Whenever we’re in Hamburg, we stay here. It’s in a very elegant part of the city, with small restaurants and cafes, and the hotel is spotless and comfortable. I love it.

Getting around is easy from this well-located hotel, with public transport close by. The room was noisy with the window open, and we could hear the neighbor’s toilet siphon through the wall. The handwash basin was oddly out in the hallway instead of the bathroom. Breakfast was basic, limited in choice, and not very good quality.

The staff were really friendly, and the rooms were decent with air conditioning. The lobby bar is fairly cozy and breakfast has a good selection. The walls are so thin, though, that light sleepers should bring earbuds.
