The location made getting around easy, and breakfast was tasty, generous, and served quickly. Our room was spacious, clean, and had plenty of amenities. We could also use the free spa in the nearby main building, the Baseler Hof. I had a great time in Hamburg thanks to this hotel. Highly recommend it.

I'm staying at Palais esplanade Hamburg in room 816 Franz Lieber for work right now, and I changed my mind about the old-fashioned style as soon as I arrived. I'm a big fan of modern design, so I was a little wary at first. The welcome was excellent: a kind, helpful receptionist even walked me through the hotel and to my room. They include thoughtful extras like wine, coffee, welcome fruit, and a three-day transport pass. It really feels like they care about making people feel at home. My photos match the website's pictures, maybe even better. The location is very central. I can't wait to use the fitness center and sauna, and I highly recommend staying here. I'll definitely book a second week.

I loved the place and the room they gave me, and I'd stay here again if I come back to Hamburg. The bathroom wouldn't hold water when I wanted it to, so I could only take a shower. The kitchen staff hardly smiled, and the salad I ordered wasn't nice, with a portion that felt too small. Still, it was okay. Thank you ❤️

The suites are unbelievable, and this is my favorite hotel in Hamburg. It's not cheap, but I'll definitely stay again. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful, and the location is good. Breakfast was so-so, unfortunately. Some rooms face a main street and can be noisy, though even over the weekend it wasn't too bad. Parking nearby is a nightmare. The hotel's parking spaces are tiny, so book one in advance.
