Panorama Inn Hotel und Boardinghaus

Avoid this very basic hotel. The breakfast had almost no options, and some staff were unfriendly. The rooms were somewhat dirty and noisy, with no AC. My room card didn't work at first, and it took a while to get it fixed.

We only stayed one night and slept badly after finding a centipede and a weevil in our room just minutes after arriving. The hotel interior is very outdated. The place is in Billstedt, about a three-minute walk from Billstedt Center, with shops like Primark, good public transport, and nice dining options nearby. The area felt a bit unsafe in the evening. I have a strong insect phobia, so we called reception right away. They said someone would come, but nobody arrived. I went down and explained both the problem and my phobia. The receptionist said he was alone during the day and would call a staff member, but it could take 1-1.5 hours. We were expected to stay in the room while we waited, and instead of helping, he started checking in new guests. About 20-30 minutes later he came up, but by then someone who wasn't from the hotel had already helped us. The centipede had disappeared, so we spent the night feeling uncomfortable and on edge. Hotels.com handled the issue well, but the hotel itself didn't provide real help or take responsibility. Never staying here again.

The beds were uncomfortable and the breakfast wasn't edible. We booked two double bedrooms, but each room only had two single beds pushed together without joining clips. The windows had a roof that anyone could climb onto, so we couldn't open them. The hotel is outdated, and the reception staff didn't help or seem to care. The worst hotel I've ever stayed at, especially for a hotel in a European country like Germany.

The slow elevators also had staff using them, which made them even slower. I could hear the neighbors through the room walls, and breakfast wasn't great. In the morning, the cleaning lady would come into the room without knocking. I didn't like this hotel.
