I got a really good rest and was welcomed by helpful, friendly staff. My room was spacious and clean, and accessibility had clearly been considered in its design. I greatly enjoyed staying here and would return next time I'm in Hamburg.

A charming hotel in a peaceful area, with a tasty breakfast and a good choice of food. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The warm water was around 28°C, and we never worked out how to get cold water. That's the one small downside, so I gave it four stars. We only stayed one night a few days ago, arriving so late that the instructions for finding our keys came by email. Getting them in the dark turned into a fun little adventure, and the stay has become a nice memory. I usually bring my own pillow, though I struggle with that too, and couldn't on this trip. The hotel had a regular pillow and a very small one, which gave me a tip I'm grateful for: I'll get one like that when I get home.

I haven't stayed at this hotel, but I saw video footage and an explanation that some of the staff have disabilities, including one person who was blind and a few people with Down syndrome. The management was described as enabled. I really like the idea of supporting disabled people by giving them jobs, so I'm giving the hotel 5/5.
