Historik Hotel Christinenhof

That pancake place nearby is full of lovely people and worth stopping by too. At the hotel, the breakfast made it clear the people running it care about fresh, tasty food. The rooms are beautiful, and the staff have a genuinely friendly, easygoing manner. We’ve stayed in hundreds of hotels around the world, and this is among the very best. Definitely worth going out of your way for.

The breakfast was really, really good, and the pool and sauna were great too. Katerina, who worked on weekends, was a perfect hostess and even helped me with my very basic Italian. The staff were incredibly helpful, and I can honestly say this was a fantastic hotel. I’d highly recommend staying here. You won’t be disappointed.

We had rooms at street level, where people walking past could see in, and a few even spoke to us. It didn’t feel private. The breakfast, though, was marvelous, fresh, homemade, and full of flavor. Six people looked after us attentively and in a friendly way. I loved the mint tea made with fresh herbs, and the pear, avocado, pine nut, and olive oil salad was so yummy.

My wife and I were here for 11 days and couldn’t fault the place. The room was amazing, the staff superb, and the location brilliant. Breakfast went beyond anything we expected. Would we come back? Definitely.
