The receptionist waited for us to arrive and check in before leaving for the night. We were running late because of traffic, and the staff checked that we were all right and still on our way. They were amazing and attentive, and I hope to come back in summer. The room lost a star because the bathroom sink leaked badly whenever we used it. There was no coffee or milk in the room, and once reception closed, there was nowhere to buy a beer, so I had to look up a local Netto store and go there. USB charging ports on the plugs might help guests who forget their chargers.

Alte Mark is in a quiet, beautiful area, and the rooms are modern and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and took care of anything we needed within seconds. A great choice for work or a leisure stay.

The WiFi was slow and a hassle to connect to, like everywhere else, and I don't understand why hotels don't offer proper WiFi, maybe even a smart TV. Still, Hotel Alte Mark was a really nice place, and we'll definitely book here again next time we're in Hamm. The beds and rooms were lovely, and everything in the room and bathroom was new and clean. The food was okay, though the schnitzel wasn't the best. Service was great and friendly, there was a good parking spot, and there's an elevator to the rooms. I recommend Hotel Alte Mark.

No one showed up for 15 minutes at check-in. There was no food available on weekends, and the room was freezing because nobody had turned on the heater for guests. The prices are still the same, though. That's really great service. Never again.

The owners were lovely, and the hotel was great. It was very clean and warm, with lovely decor. I'd definitely stay again.
