Central-Hotel Kaiserhof

I needed a room quickly after work during a business trip to Hannover. Selcuk and Camila at reception got me checked in fast and were friendly and professional. Thanks to both of you! My original single bedroom had a bed that felt a bit small for someone 2m tall like me, so I asked to switch. They moved me to a more comfortable room right away. Great staff and hotel, highly recommend!

The hotel was adequate, and we were happy to pay a bit extra for the central location, though we wished it had more amenities. It sits beside the central train station, about a 2-3 min walk from the station, subway, several malls, and places to eat. An Uber from the airport was about 21 euros, and the S5 train also runs from there. Check-in and check-out were efficient, and the staff spoke English. Our room was nice but on the small side, with a little fridge and the traditional separate covers for two people sharing a large bed. There's a bar at the hotel with a somewhat limited food selection. We sat at the outdoor tables by the entrance for refreshments on a couple of afternoons. It's a pleasant covered place to relax, though people experiencing homelessness sometimes wander through the open plaza outside the station and may ask for money, including near the restaurant area. My window faced the plaza and didn't seal fully, so some outdoor noise came in, including noise from people there. Even so, I didn't feel unsafe walking outside during the day or early evening.

A business hotel for the most part, but it has a traditional, family feel and is very nice. It's beside the main railway station and shopping centre.

We found the air conditioning very effective every time we stayed, which was a real plus during hot summer days. The rooms are spacious, modern, upscale, and well maintained, with a nice bathroom and all the necessary amenities. The hotel is lovely and right by Hannover's central train station, in the heart of the city centre. There can be some noise on certain nights because of the station and the crowds it draws on weekends or soccer game days.
