There’s plenty of parking at the hotel, and the staff were all very friendly and pleasant. A nice, family-run hotel in Haren, a small town on the Ems.

The restaurant food was great, and the rooms felt spacious and nice. The location worked well too. My only gripe was the beds. They weren't very comfortable, though I could still sleep.

It's peaceful right in the center of Haren, with nature only a few minutes away. The staff were kind and helpful, and everything else was great. I did miss having a fridge or an iron in the room.

The continental breakfast was the bright spot, with plenty of choice, fresh warm bread, very good coffee, and eggs cooked just right for five minutes. My husband and I stayed four nights in room 301, but couldn't get WiFi up there. When we told reception, the response was dismissive: “Oh, well it works down here, doesn't it?”

That bar in the main building is really good. I had schnitzel with beer, and wow, the taste was something else. The rooms are cozy too. It's a good place in a small town, definitely worth a stop. A+ guys.
