There are walking trails from town where you can see cows and horses, and a playground just a few meters from the hotel for little kids. Rothenburg ob der Tauber is only a few minutes away by car. The hosts are really welcoming and have good suggestions for the area, and both the restaurant and hotel are great. The food was absolutely delicious, and our newly renovated room was spacious and comfortable. Such a good family getaway.

We left very happy and would like to come back. The room was roomy and nicely decorated, and everything was very clean. One thing about the separate bed in room 11: it was quite short and wedged between two walls, so my feet touched the wall. The food tasted good, and our hostess was so friendly and made us feel at home. Great service.

For the price, it was really wonderful. The stay beat what we expected and had that small German town feel, with horses neighing, tractors loaded with hay, and locals popping in for a quick hello and a beer.

Dinner was great, and so was the breakfast buffet. This felt like a real Gasthaus from the old days, with an honest, clean place and a great, friendly host. The quality for the price was great. Thank you.

The evening meal was simple but fine, and breakfast was very good. This was a really nice, typically German inn, with good-sized rooms, nice linen, and a large shower. I'd definitely stay here again.
