We needed somewhere to wait and eat until our return train, after taking the steam train from Quedlinburg to Aleixisbad. It was the lowest season and everywhere was closed. Even though lunch was over, the hotel let us order coffee, a snack, and dessert. The staff were very nice and let us stay in the dining room until it was time to go. It looks like a very modern spa hotel, though we didn't look around much. There were few guests, but it must be crowded in summer. The area is beautiful.

The hotel workers are really friendly, and there's a big parking lot. It's a very calm place for relaxing, with simple but functional rooms. The woods have beautiful views. Breakfast is a little light, but tasty and healthy.

I would come back if the issues below were fixed. There's no fridge or way to get ice cubes in or near the room, and the rooms themselves are nice. Breakfast was good, except I never managed to get a perfectly cooked 3-minute egg, it was always overcooked. Dinner was served buffet-style. The vegetables and other food were often left out too long and ended up overcooked. Management or the Food & Beverage manager should eat at the restaurant and check the food quality. Smaller dishes that are refilled more often might help. If this can't be managed, then replace the CHEF or F&B MANAGER.

The location is beautiful, and breakfast was nice. There are fun things to do, like bowling and swimming. Overall, it's a pleasant place to stay.
