We felt right at home in this quiet, very clean apartment. It was cozy, the beds were comfortable, and it had already been warmed up when we arrived, which we really appreciated. Getting there was easy, with our own parking spot in the courtyard. We were greeted warmly, and whenever we had a question, someone was available right away. We'd gladly recommend staying here.

This is a charming apartment in the attic of the village's old schoolhouse. It's tucked away and very peaceful, though shops are still within reach. The owners are perhaps a little strict about keeping noise down for the neighbors, so anyone hoping to party late into the night may want to look elsewhere.

The village has a lovely medieval feel, and there are plenty of everyday essentials nearby, including an EDEKA, pharmacy, savings bank, butcher, drink shop, and restaurants. From the station you can also go straight to the Brocken without changing trains. As for the stay, Apartment Gänseschnabel was small, cozy, clean, and very well equipped for two. All five apartments were booked, yet it was still peaceful and relaxing. The garden is spacious, with several places to sit, a barbecue spot, and a smoking area. Booking, getting the keys, and paying the landlord directly were all simple and trouble-free. Many thanks to the Tröbs family. We can wholeheartedly recommend it, and hope you enjoy your holiday in the Harz Mountains!
