We stayed here before the rooms were renovated and liked it then, but the apartment we walked into on our recent visit really impressed us. The design is amazing, with so much thought put into every part of the space. We enjoyed the room a lot, especially the lovely bathroom and the little kitchen, which was just right for basic needs. Everything was clean and tidy. The owners and staff were friendly and approachable, and breakfast had plenty of choices to cover our needs. The restaurant food was divine. Everyone at our table ordered something different and was happy with their meal. We were disturbed a bit by noisy pedestrians outside the street-facing windows and by hotel guests returning very late, and I guess not very sober, who were rather loud. That sort of thing can happen anywhere. The hotel is about a 2-minute walk from the town centre, with a big parking area, a huge advantage, and plenty of shops around the corner. We visited in autumn when the weather wasn’t great, but in summer there’s a lovely large terrace for sitting outside.

If zero stars were an option, I’d give them. I’m disappointed by our recent meal here. The staff were inattentive, unresponsive and unfriendly throughout, and the dishes were undercooked and didn’t have the flavor profile described on the menu. Both the service and food fell far short of what I expect. I also got the impression that staff members weren’t treated well, and there was bad energy in the air. It wasn’t a good experience. I hope this feedback is taken constructively and that these problems are addressed so customers can have a better meal.

We stopped in for a quick lunch and waited a little, but the waitress was really kind. The Caesar salad was the best I’ve ever had, with fresh vegetables and perfectly cooked chicken. Recommended!

We came for dinner while staying at a nearby hotel. The dishes were excellent and the staff were very friendly. We hadn’t booked, but luckily there was a table for two. It’s a restaurant I’d recommend if you’re in the neighbourhood, though making a reservation is the surest way to get a table.

I’ve eaten at this lovely Italian restaurant many times and have always been happy with everything. The food is wonderful, and the service is amazing, especially from the young waitress. Thanks for being so friendly and efficient.
