It's a pleasant, relaxed place, and I like coming back every other weekend. The food is reliably good and fresh, just what you'd expect from a Greek restaurant. Gyros, souvlaki, and the appetizers are all consistent, and I always leave full and satisfied. The staff are friendly and attentive without hovering, and I still feel welcome when the place is busy. For me, it's a dependable choice when I want a good meal and a relaxing evening. 🤩

This is a complaint about the hotel management or the staff handling phone calls. I booked a double room online through Check24 at a very reasonable price for those dates, then soon received an email from a staff member telling me to cancel right away. I objected because I had a booking confirmation from Check24. A hotel employee called and spoke sharply, saying she couldn't give me a room at that price. When I kept asking for the room I'd confirmed, she got cheeky and offered me a room of 5 sq m. I said I'd take it, but she shouted that she didn't want me as a guest and that I should cancel immediately. Since the booking was confirmed, canceling would have cost me an 85 euro fee. I contacted Check24 and asked them to cancel as a goodwill gesture, and they approved it. I could have insisted on the contract, which would have meant this woman had to give me a room. Given the circumstances, though, I chose to find a “good” place that treats guests respectfully, kindly, and professionally. Where have the values of respectful interaction gone? Can a hotel or restaurant really afford to behave this way these days? Sad but true!!!

We went to Bacchus in Haßloch with our dog on Thursday, and it was a great evening. The atmosphere felt cozy and modern, but still warm and full of heart, just how we like it in the Palatinate. You can tell as soon as you walk in that it's more than a Greek restaurant, it's a feel-good spot with ouzo guaranteed. 😄 The food was fantastic, fresh, juicy, and delicious to the last bite. We tried gyros, souvlaki, and classic grilled dishes, and the portions were generous, just as they should be. The team were incredibly friendly and quick, always smiling. They made us feel like we were among good friends. If you can't find something good at Bacchus, you must have eaten too much beforehand. 😄 A clear recommendation: Greek food with Palatinate passion, a great team, and fantastic food.
