It's a beautiful location, but breakfast was a letdown. The new owner seemed overwhelmed, and there was hardly any choice. You had to ask for eggs, however you wanted them cooked, and even with the bread rolls they had to check whether any were left. Maybe they were new to the business, or maybe, as the friendly employee said, the party the night before meant they hadn't restocked. Either way, that doesn't matter to me as a guest. I paid a hefty €97 for the room, sorry.

The river view is lovely, and reception staff are very friendly. The rooms are clean and tidy, somewhere between old-fashioned and ultra-modern. It's a little out of the way, though there is a Rewe supermarket and a very good burger place at the gas station in town.

I found a bug in my bed this morning. I'm asking the hotel owners to disinfect the rooms.

The staff are very friendly at this nice little hotel. Food and breakfast are good, and there's plenty of it. Highly recommended.
