That pepper sauce really made the meal for me. My medium-rare 350g fillet was cooked just right, and the sauce with black and green pepper had loads of spice without being too hot for me as an Asian. It almost wakes you up when you take a bite. My German colleague said it was the best steak he'd ever had, and I can see why. Andi's Steakhouse in Hausen has comforting food beyond steak too. Get the Creamy Spinach on the side, it went perfectly with the peppered beef.

The restaurant serves good steaks, and the service there was friendly. The owners are welcoming too, and the hotel is family-run. It's clean throughout, though it's not a luxury place and some bedding could use an update. Breakfast is available and was a decent middle-class standard. Still a good place to stay.

The restaurant food was very good, and I tried quite a few menu items without being disappointed. Breakfast had a nice selection, and the sauna was a welcome treat. I've stayed here a couple of times for work. The rooms are spacious and clean, and everyone on staff has been extremely friendly and polite. They were also very accommodating when guests could only speak English. I'd stay again and have recommended it to others.

We were a family of four here for three nights in August. The staff were helpful, and the rooms were a decent size. We enjoyed the steaks, schnitzel and beer, and would definitely come back.

We had a great evening with the other family. The service was friendly and quick, and my dinner, Argentinian beef with pepper sauce on a hot stone, was delicious.
