The food was a real highlight: dinner brought a different excellent Bavarian dish each day, and breakfast was a tasty German buffet. The hostess was so thoughtful, remembering our drinks, sharing local tips, and even giving us homemade strawberry marmalade. She also printed the menu in Spanish for us. We had a lovely time at Gasthof Moosmühle and will definitely return.

The trout was some of the best I’ve ever tasted, and the rooms were roomy and comfortable. This family-run Bavarian Gasthaus serves fresh, locally sourced food made with traditional recipes, and everyone was very friendly. It’s a lovely place to get a feel for real Bavaria.

A late call was no problem, and they still had room for me. I ate dinner there too, and it was excellent. The rooms have a traditional feel, which I liked, so don't expect modern features. Breakfast was very good. It’s a cosy place with history, and Gasthouses in Germany work well for a couple of days away.

We booked a special dinner for December 31 to celebrate the coming New Year and were so glad we did. The food was delicious, the music was lovely, and the staff were extremely friendly. A wonderful setting for typical Bavarian food.

The owner was so kind and helpful, and both breakfast and dinner were the best we’ve had across the region. We’re trikers and bikers who have been all over Bavaria, and this hotel was the best. Just amazing, I’d recommend this place to everyone.
