We all came away wanting to return. Staying with Ruth at Hotel SchopPerle felt like being at home, thanks to the warm, helpful staff and especially Ruth, the kindest host we met on our Europe trip. The rooms are airy, with big balconies, and the hotel has plenty of character. We enjoyed the food, and the pickled pine tree was a first for all of us. It’s an acquired taste, but gave us plenty to talk about. Thanks for the lovely hospitality, Ruth. Love from Sam and the Lotus Group xx

The pizza was the best I’ve had in a while. The owner or manager takes food quality seriously, and the service was excellent. The food is good and affordable, too.
