The food was so good that we had dinner here two evenings in a row. Nice menu and great service. If you're nearby, I highly recommend it.

The restaurant was a highlight for us, with attentive service and flavorful, beautifully prepared dishes. Rooms are spacious and well equipped, though summer heat can make things uncomfortable without air conditioning. The hotel sits among tall trees in a peaceful forest setting, right by the main road into Sankt Blasien, so it's easy to reach town. There's also an inviting indoor pool and a relaxing spa, handy after sightseeing.

The pool is nice, and the view from it is good. Breakfast was very good too. Just be aware that some rooms don't have a view. We asked for a quieter room because the hotel is on the local main road and there's quite a bit of traffic, but our room looked onto the parking area and another building. Feldberg, two lakes, and other highlights are only a short drive away.

The staff were very, very friendly. We especially liked the lovely, smug Ms Laura :) Breakfast and the restaurant dishes were delicious, and the hotel also offers great beauty treatments, a nice pool complex, and a sauna. It's a small family-run place with all the amenities you could need, plus walking paths nearby and plenty of excursion options both close by and farther away.

Such a lovely hotel, with warm and friendly staff and beautiful views over the forest. The Black Forest cake did not disappoint!
