Hotel Der Seehof

Direct access to Lake Freudensee made it easy to swim and sunbathe, and the hotel's setting is beautiful. Our apartment had a very well-equipped kitchen and two bathrooms, plus a new, really comfortable box-spring bed. We spent four lovely, relaxing days at the Seehof and highly recommend it.

It's a lovely hotel in a great spot by the lake, and dogs are welcome, which gets a thumbs up from us. The management is friendly and the staff are courteous. It's a little out of the way, though everything is an easy walk. It's a shame the restaurant has closed. Breakfast is available and filling, although we would have liked more variety. We'd book again. We gave it 4 stars in all categories, as there's always room to improve. :-)

We’d happily come back. The lake is lovely, with a little boathouse and a spot for fishing just across the road. There’s a small parking area at the hotel, including a carport. Our dogs were welcome, too. The family running the cozy, slightly older hotel were all kind, attentive, and helpful, and we had a lovely room with a big bathroom. Best wishes, Norbert and Tina.

We felt right at home and would love to return. Our room was new and nicely furnished, breakfast was generous and very good, and the service was friendly throughout. They even lent us a rowboat. The lake is right outside, with a swimming area and, a little farther along, a shallow entry for children beside a lovely, unusual playground. There’s another playground next to the hotel. It’s also a great base for hikes. It suited us perfectly, and we’d gladly recommend it.
