The check-in and checkout were straightforward, and the reception team was professional. I also liked the shower radio built into the room. The gym was very clean and well looked after, with fresh towels and a water station with cups. It had steppers, a rowing machine, and a treadmill. For weights, there were a bench and a set of dumbbells up to about 20 kilos. There was also a cable machine with plenty of attachments, so you could train all muscle groups. The rooms were top-notch, fully equipped with everything you might need, and the corridors, room service, beds, and pillows were all high quality. The views from the window were excellent. It felt like affordable luxury in a great location. The hotel and its amenities went beyond what we expected.

The location worked well for the event in the same building, but I see no other reason to stay here. It's an average place, very old and probably not updated in 30 years. The booking system seems to be from the 1990s, and the giveaway was that guest comments were limited to 255 characters 🤣 The staff were a bit below average, especially room cleaning. They tended to knock and then come in without waiting for a reply.

The service and the location itself were fantastic, and it's close to the airport but far from downtown. Our room smelled strongly of smoke, so for that I'd give it only 3 stars.

Breakfast was just okay, nothing beyond the usual. The room itself was clean, but there was no kettle, tea, or coffee. They put an ice bucket in the room, yet the only ice machine was in wing 1, even though the hotel has four wings. The pillows were so flat that stacking them didn’t help.
