There are garden benches for looking up at the stars, and the clear skies with little light pollution are a big part of the area's appeal. Just watch out for mosquitoes, especially after rain, and bring spray or a fumigator. The breakfast is really good, especially with the homemade marmalade, which is the house specialty. The owners are lovely and always willing to help. Rooms are roomy and stylish, with everything working as it should. It's a convenient, cozy place with its own feel, and the WiFi works too. :)

A perfect place, and a perfect owner.

We felt very much at home here, with a warm, family-like welcome. It’s a peaceful place, and guests can also use the garden as a quiet spot. The rooms are beautifully decorated with care, and there’s parking. The bathroom is fully accessible. Frau Spießmacher is happy to answer questions or help with special requests. We found the informative walk around the village really interesting. The kitchen has cupboards that can all be operated with a switch. Homemade marmalade made breakfast sweeter, and the genuine organic eggs were a real treat.

Skylights over the beds were a special touch, letting you look up at the sky from bed. The attic apartment at Mrs. Spiesmacher's is lovely, with modern heating and bathroom fittings, oak floors, and an inventive kitchenette tucked into a cupboard. The beds have wooden frames, neck pillows, and duvets, though the blankets may feel a bit short if you're tall. Breakfast was delicious, with homemade jams, honey, eggs, and regional rolls, plus lively conversation with Mrs. Spiesmacher. The apartment is in the beautiful Havelaue area and the Star Park.
