The complimentary farmer’s bread was so good, if you’re lucky you might get to try it. Of the three meat mains on offer, the lamb was the best. Service was very good, and the atmosphere was nice. Prices seemed reasonable for Europe. The flies indoors are the one thing that could be improved. I understand nearby farming makes that difficult, but surely it can be tackled :)

The guest lounge in the guesthouse looks a bit neglected after water damage. The rooms have sturdy wooden furniture in keeping with the family’s eco philosophy, though their decor feels dated next to the stylishly renovated restaurant. Food and service were excellent.

The Rose team bring together fine dining and an authentic feel without losing sight of the people or the fantastic organic ingredients. Their food really takes things up a level. Have a look at their events too, they’re all worth attending.

So many vegan choices, and mostly vegetarian 🌱 Really tasty, with lovely staff!

Try the Wohnzimmer, it’s definitely worth it. Just wonderful all around, from the hotel and dinner to the super nice people.
