Qube Hotel Bahnstadt

I always enjoy coming back to Qube Hotel Bahnstadt and can only recommend it. The modern, beautiful rooms, friendly team, and excellent restaurant with its cozy atmosphere are all lovely. There's a large choice of drinks and signature cocktails at the bar, a rooftop terrace with fantastic views though no bar service, and a rich breakfast buffet. Coffee and tea are available on every floor, too. Many thanks to the whole team!

The staff were very friendly and quickly fixed a technical issue. Our room was a good size and stayed quiet despite facing the train station. The air conditioning was quiet too, though it didn't get very cold. There's a small roof terrace, but you need to bring drinks up from the bar. The underground parking fits vehicles up to 2m high. The entrance is narrow but manageable even for trucks. The surrounding quarter is new and not quite ready yet, so use navigation to find the hotel.

Good value, and I'd stay here again. We spent one night here on our Germany trip. It was centrally located, with a quick cab ride to Old Town. The rooms were clean and had a/c, which mattered a lot to us. Breakfast was very good, and the bathroom was nicely spacious with lots of room for toiletries.

The hotel was clean, modern, and quiet, and we both really enjoyed our stay. Our room had a comfortable bed, a spacious bathroom, a big tall window, and nice amenities. The blackout curtains and awning helped keep it dark in the early morning. Staff were friendly and hospitable, and every person at the front desk spoke very good English, which helped since I don't speak German. We liked ending the night in the rooftop lounge for the views. The bar and restaurant looked lovely, though we didn't use them. Nearby, the neighborhood felt clean, safe, and pleasant, with cafes, bakeries, restaurants, and parks and plazas like Gadamerplatz. The location depends on what brings you to Heidelberg. It's around a 15-minute walk to the main train station, handy when arriving or leaving, but farther from Old Town, the castle, river, and other main sights to the east. Trams nearby connect to those places in about 20-35 minutes, depending where you're going. Some lines are more pleasant than the ones from the station because they tend to avoid the busy tourist areas. We liked staying away from the noise and congestion while still having good transit. If you want to step straight into the heart of the city, this may not be the best fit. We'll definitely stay at Qube again when we return to Heidelberg.
