Holiday Inn Express Heilbronn by IHG

Breakfast was good quality, and the friendly server was always there to restock things and answer questions. The hotel is new, with pleasant rooms and a lovely atmosphere in a fantastic central spot. The front of house staff were professional and helpful. I fell in love with the lovely lady there! There are five parking spaces beside the hotel, but getting one is down to luck. Internet coverage is poor too, though it does give you a good excuse to put your phone away.

The rooms were good, but the service was terrible. They made a real issue of parking our motorcycles even though there was plenty of empty space between the bikes or cars. We were told to use a nearby garage, but none of them allowed motorcycles, so we were basically left to find somewhere on the street. Why advertise parking for 100+ rooms if there are only a dozen spots?

My room was very clean, and the new hotel is well placed for exploring the town centre. Breakfast was included in my room price and was okay. It was all self-service, and the only staff I saw were restocking or clearing up. There was no information in the room about things I'd expect, like the TV channels or how to call reception from the room phone, or set an alarm. I ended up calling reception from my own mobile to arrange a wake-up call.

I'm in Heilbronn on a business trip. Housekeeping broke a perfume that was highly valuable to me sentimentally, and the hotel staff resolved the problem in less than 24 hours with real professionalism. Thank you very much. The room, location, and breakfast are great as well. I'd definitely recommend staying here.
