We spent a week here to visit the Sinsheim Technik Museum and other sights around the Neckar valley. It’s easy to get around by public transport, with major connections nearby, and the hotel is close to downtown while the rooms stay very quiet. Our clean room looked out over the Neckar. Breakfast was nice, with fresh pastries every morning. There’s also a swimming pool and sauna, and massages are available if you’re interested.

A great spot if you’re arriving by car, with lots of roomy parking spaces. This is a cute hotel in a superb location, and the rooms were immaculate. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Special thanks to the breakfast restaurant team for their warm hospitality and service. Very happy with everything.

Friendly staff and a superb setting. All the rooms have AC, so it’s perfect for a summer stay. An amazing experience.

10/10
The pool area was spotless, brand new and very relaxing, and we had it to ourselves. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with nice new bathrooms. We even added a few hours to our stay without any problem. The one downside was arriving for breakfast at 10:30 after lingering at the pool, when the buffet was limited; the nice à la carte egg choices made up for it. We chose Heilbronn for an overnight stop on our drive from Switzerland to Poland with our small child. We booked Insel Hotel by phone at the last minute, knowing we’d arrive only minutes before 10pm. Its location, pool and parking availability were why we chose it. Stefanie took our booking, was super helpful and kind, and offered us a special deal on the room, breakfast and extra parking, all free of charge. I’ll gladly recommend the hotel and return next time I’m in Heilbronn.

It’s a very old-fashioned hotel, which I think you have to like. The location right in the centre of Heilbronn is very nice, and the food was good with excellent service. Breakfast was okay otherwise, but could have offered more variety, and the rolls were a bit too hard.
