The rooms were clean, nicely heated, and very pleasant to stay in. Staff were friendly and multilingual, so language shouldn’t be a problem. Breakfast was delicious, and dinner was amazing too. I’d definitely come back.

For a hotel calling itself 3 star, the room felt lacking: no microwave, an old TV with jacks and no HDMI ports, and a queen bed that was really two singles pushed together. The balcony looked out at nothing. The restaurant closes at night and is only open by invitation. Checking out took a while because of the lack of staff. They did clean the room during my stay.

A typical hostel in a small, cozy village.

I’ve only spent one night here so far, but I’m really enjoying the Konigsteiner Hof. The room is just right and has everything I need, and the staff are friendly and very helpful. Konigstein has a lovely small-town atmosphere.

I came for a climbing weekend in May 2014. The staff were helpful and friendly, the food was good, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. I’d definitely stay here again!
