We had a nice, spacious room that met our needs, and the breakfast buffet was second to none. The breakfast staff were especially attentive, big kudos to them. We’d looked forward to another visit so much that we booked an extra night. But when we arrived on 1 June, between 14:30 and 15:00, the female receptionist didn’t make us feel welcome at all. Check-in was handled without a smile or any kindness. It was a dull start that stayed with us through the visit and affected how much we did at the hotel. We’ve now been here twice, and I’m not sure we’ll return.

It’s new and nice, but there’s no private, locked parking. I wouldn’t bring an expensive car.

Right by the Baltic, this is a fantastic hotel with reasonable rates. The breakfast was excellent, and everything you might need is close by.

I needed somewhere quiet to work on a project for a fortnight, and Meereszeiten turned out to be an excellent choice. My suite was spacious, with a nice view of the boat harbour. To keep things simple, I had the restaurant’s three-course dinner every night. At 35 euro, it was well worth it: good food, nice wines, and friendly service. Money well spent.
