There were lots of flies on the floor when we arrived, which made for an unpleasant welcome. The bathroom had no soap, either for hands or for washing, and the bathtub pipe was broken and came off in your hand when you used it. There was no coffee or tea in the kitchen, and breakfast wasn’t being served during our stay. Heating wasn’t great, and we didn’t have full control over it. We had to ask the host for the Wi-Fi password. With a little effort, this place could be much more welcoming and better. We were in apartment Nr 7.

We booked the whole house for our wedding from July 1st to July 3rd, 2022, with 25 people, and it was our dream location. The house has so much charm, with 8 tastefully furnished rooms and a covered courtyard that all our guests loved. From our first contact right through to saying goodbye, everything felt warm and well organized. We were incredibly comfortable, and the whole staff were friendly and competent. The food was regional and high quality, with plenty of choice for everyone. Even as vegetarians, we had a great selection. We celebrated until 3 a.m. and could turn the music up quite a bit. We’re sure this won’t be our last visit. Our sincere thanks to the housekeeper, Mrs. Gerkowski, for being so easygoing and for her excellent cooking, and a big thank you to the whole team. We found long black hairs in several places, including my bed, and they weren’t ours. The shower was the main problem: I’m the shortest of us at 1.65m, yet I had to sit in the bathtub to keep from hitting my head on the sloped ceiling, and even kneeling wasn’t enough. There was no shower curtain either. Taller people could bump their heads in quite a few places around the apartment. The attic apartment was clean and pretty, in a nice neighborhood, but small for three of us. All in all, it was okay.
