Landgasthaus Zander

Getting in was easy: we picked up the key with a code sent over the phone, so our arrival time was flexible. There’s also free parking right at the hotel, and the hostess was consistently warm and helpful. Our room had the practical basics for a comfortable stay and was exceptionally clean. The breakfast spread was superb, and the hotel’s setting was both peaceful and convenient. We had a really pleasant stay and would recommend it.

The breakfast buffet had everything we wanted. Our first-floor tower room felt cozy and welcoming, and the adjustable headboard was a particularly nice touch since hotels rarely seem to have one. We found the location ideal, with the area’s attractions easy and quick to reach and very little street noise. No one was there in person to check us in, but we sorted it out easily over the phone.

We found the staff very friendly and ready to help, and parking was available. The rooms were spotless and well furnished, with a particularly nice, spacious bathroom. Breakfast was generous and tasty. One downside was that drinks were only available from the fridge on an honor system because the restaurant was closed.

There was a good range of sweet and savory choices at breakfast, and it was very good. The hotel itself was lovely, with spacious rooms that were kept in excellent condition.
