TIN INN Heinsberg

The fridge in my room didn’t work either. Since Tuesday, I’d also been trying to turn on the AC, but it wouldn’t start. Support told me the entire hotel AC system had a problem, and by Sunday it still hadn’t been fixed. It was summer, and with the hotel made from containers, it got VERY hot. I ended up taking cold showers every 30 minutes because I was sweating even while doing nothing. There’s no reception, and if you call for help, MAYBE they’ll answer. They gave me no practical fix and no refund. It felt like the hotel had a problem of its own, but I was the one paying for it. I’m never staying at this hotel or any of the franchise again, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

You register online at TIN INN, then get your room number and access code. There isn’t a reception desk. The shower and wash area looks stylish and has plenty of space, while the rest of the room is pretty basic. The outlet placement feels like the layout was planned before cell phones and smartphones existed. Breakfast isn’t provided, though you can eat nearby, so that’s not a major issue.

The bed and shower are both large, and everything was clean and modern. There were three free drinks in the minibar, and a gas station is right next door. Just right for tradesmen like us passing through!

I haven’t found a room this clean, especially the bathroom, in this price range for a long time. When my HRS reservation didn’t work and I made a rather clumsy mistake as well, I called the hotline around 10:30 pm. They helped me right away. Really excellent service!
