We enjoyed a lovely breakfast there with two other couples from the Netherlands. Hellenthal is about 8 km away for eating out, since there’s nothing else to do in the hamlet. It’s really out in the middle of nowhere, which makes for a very peaceful stay.

Breakfast had a generous choice, from cheese and cold cuts to quark, jam, boiled eggs, coffee and orange juice. The hosts were always kind and attentive, and the little double room was charming and cozy, with a separate room for breakfast. I spent a week here at the end of September 2024 and loved the peaceful setting, away from everyday hustle. I’d choose it again for another trip to the Eifel. Thanks so much!

It’s wonderfully quiet here. The house is clean and spacious, and the owners are very nice. The large common room is a bit dated, though. The nearest swimming facilities are about a 10-minute drive away.

The room was spotless and the hostess was really nice. There’s lots to do nearby, including great hiking, and it’s a beautiful, quiet area. I felt very at home, and breakfast was excellent and plentiful.

Breakfast was delicious and more than enough, and the room was very clean. We got such a warm welcome that we’ll definitely come back!
