The buffet breakfast had a huge variety, and we had a good schnitzel for dinner. It’s a nice area for cycling or walking. The rooms are older but very clean. My only reason for not giving five stars is that there weren’t curtains to darken the room for sleeping.

It’s in a green area that’s lovely for walks. My family and I had a lovely stay at Im Heisterholz Hotel, and the owner was kind and always available to help make sure we were comfortable.

Even with no other guests, they put out the full breakfast buffet and offered egg dishes, which made breakfast a success. We got a very friendly welcome. The room was a little dated, but clean and functional, and we felt comfortable.

The breakfast buffet was very extensive and included in the overnight stay. I spent one night at Hotel Im Heisterholz during my multi-day e-bike tour. They welcomed me very warmly, and I could leave my e-bike in the basement plugged into an outlet to charge. The room was spacious, and the whole hotel was super clean. For dinner, hotel guests could choose from two daily specials. I had the meatloaf from the hotel’s own butchery. It was delicious, and the portion was very generous.

After a long hike, the host took such good care of us when we arrived. We got great insider tips and suggested hiking routes that really suited us. The food and breakfast were excellent and had everything we wanted. It’s a wonderful place for hikers, cyclists, or anyone looking to unwind for a few days. Thanks again for all the support. We’d love to return and explore the Westerwald again! :-)
