Obst- und Ferienhof Witzigmann

Hengnau is a sleepy little village without a shop or bakery, but the fairly priced bread delivery more than makes up for that. Wasserburg is only five minutes away by bike, though the ride back uphill might take ten. We had such a good holiday at the Witzigmann family's farm. They’re a lovely, easygoing family, and we couldn’t have asked for nicer hosts ❤️ The garden is beautiful and well maintained, with a barbecue area, and the big balcony has a fantastic view. A place we’d love to holiday at again 😄

We’ve stayed several times in Ferienwohnung 1 and 6, and the apartments are always so well looked after. The hostess makes sure of that. They’re cozy and peaceful, with good beds and large balconies, and the bread roll service is a lovely touch. It’s easy to settle in and feel at home. There are plenty of walks starting right from the apartment, with Vorarlberg and the Allgäu not far away and Bodensee right on the doorstep. After a hike, we like winding down on the balcony with the Alps in view, then getting a good rest in the comfortable beds. Fresh rolls outside the door make a nice start to the next day. What could be better? We’re always happy to return to Obst und Ferienhof Witzigmann.

The kids have plenty to do here, with soccer, table football, go-karts, a trampoline, and more. The bread delivery service works perfectly, too. It’s a great base for trips around Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. We had a relaxing holiday in a very nice apartment with excellent amenities and a great location. The owners were very friendly. We had two wonderful weeks in holiday apartment No. 1 in August 2022. The apartment was clean and comfortable, and we especially enjoyed the large balcony, the bread roll service, and the almost always lovely weather.
