The restaurant is open only now and then, and on Wednesdays the whole place shuts. If you arrive that day, you have to use the cellar night entrance. Breakfast was fine, nothing memorable. The rooms are dated but okay, and there's no minibar or fridge.

The room really needs a full renovation, and I wouldn't recommend this place for family celebrations. The food was so poor that any home cook could do better. Service was only so-so. Once the staff member left, the owner stopped taking care of anything and gave the impression he just wanted everyone to leave. Terrible value for money.

The breakfast was very good, and the woman serving it was the only person we encountered. She was really friendly. We were cycling as a couple and picked the hotel because it had a restaurant, but nobody told us it would be closed for vacation. We would have liked to know in advance. Our room was okay, though the bike garage couldn't be locked. Getting the room key from a code-protected safe made things feel impersonal. A shame.

The other guests saved the evening and made breakfast pleasant. Three hikers and two cyclists had a lot of fun together. The owner, though, was unfriendly and we didn't feel welcome. We stayed in June 2025, and the room was really run-down and dirty. Bird droppings covered the balcony chairs, the table was broken, the bathroom light didn't work, and the shower curtain was awful. The food was simply bad. I hardly ever complain, but this hotel calls for it.
