Breakfast is set out in portions on the counter at 8 a.m. If you come later, the sausage is warm and the boiled egg cold. It's also awkward that the attached restaurant changes its opening hours every day. The beachside location is wonderful, and the morning sunrise view is lovely. In the room, only one of the two power outlets worked, as well as just one bedside lamp. Still, for a guesthouse rather than a hotel, it's quite alright.

Spotlessly clean, friendly, with delicious food and a direct sea view. It's an old house on the square with its own fish restaurant, all very nostalgic. Some might say it urgently needs renovation, but to me that old-fashioned feel is exactly what makes it special.

At about €61 a night for two people with breakfast on a February weekend, the price seemed reasonable, though the €10 daily parking fee felt excessive. The key was handed over downstairs at the counter in the fish restaurant, but communicating with the staff was somewhat difficult because of the language barrier. Nobody showed us to our room. Payment for the guesthouse was separate from the tourist tax, which had to be paid in cash. The hallway is badly run down and needs renovation. In winter, the parking spaces aren't gritted or cleared, so they're slippery. Parking isn't monitored, and since they don't record license plates or issue permits, getting a spot is down to luck.

For one or two nights, the small rooms are perfectly fine, and the price is reasonable. Breakfast is ample for two.
