It’s centrally located, about 10 minutes from the beach promenade, and has parking if you book it in advance. The guesthouse is cozy and nicely furnished, with a fully equipped kitchen for making your own meals. Breakfast is available on request, as is dinner until 8 pm.

We stayed in a holiday apartment at Pension Domke for the weekend, and I was surprised by how spacious it was. Everything was tidy and clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast is worth recommending at €10 per person. Great value for the price. Everything was great, keep it up!

There’s a spacious layout, but the apartment was extremely unhygienic. The kettle hadn’t been cleaned, the shower and toilet were unacceptable, and the towel racks were broken. With no shower curtain, the bathroom kept flooding whenever we showered. My wife slipped and fell backward onto the edge of the shower tray, fracturing two vertebrae. An ambulance came with its sirens on and stayed in the courtyard for half an hour, but the staff didn’t seem to care. Mr. Andre Domke, the guesthouse owner, never apologized or sent get-well wishes. Check-in meant going into a fish shop where the “reception” was. They gutted fish first, then handed us the key. We had to communicate with gestures because the staff didn’t understand us, and their rudeness made us feel like we were bothering them. We reached the apartment on the second floor through a back courtyard. He may do very well selling fish sandwiches and dishes, but renting rooms as a side business just doesn’t work. We won’t stay at this “guesthouse” again.
