The staff were really friendly, and everything else was top-notch. Our room was perfectly fine, with a TV and refrigerator, and the important places were easy to reach on foot. The beach was especially close. We’ll definitely come back to this great hostel. The Wi-Fi doesn’t reach everywhere, and parking is expensive. It’s a hostel, so housekeeping and a huge breakfast buffet aren’t part of the deal. That’s the point: you get a great vacation for very little money.

The room was fine, with a small anteroom and the basics: bed, TV, Wi-Fi, a table and two chairs, refrigerator, and bathroom with toilet, shower, and sink. Getting in with a code was especially convenient. There’s a laundromat in the next entrance, though you need its app to use it.

We booked a week at the last minute last summer, right in the middle of the season, and got it very cheaply. Our room seemed to be one of the newer ones: white, clean, and very well kept. It felt more like a regular hotel room than a hostel. We were on the fourth floor, facing southwest, with a lovely view. In the evenings we’d rather eat in the room by the large open window at sunset than go to the restaurant. Really nice.

The beach is only a ten-minute walk away, and the beach itself is excellent. I’d recommend the hostel for a short stay, especially since the service was top-notch and they found me a last-minute room in peak season. Thanks to the management for that. My room was from an older era, a bit dated, though functional and perfectly adequate for my short trip. The hostel is being renovated. The building is also a little noisy, which I found unusual, though after long days of sunshine and wonderful waves I was exhausted and it didn’t bother me much. I’m taking off two stars for the room: mine was one of the older ones and only €5 cheaper than the newer rooms, so the price could definitely be lower. I’d gladly return. :)
