We felt right at home in the clean, well-kept apartment. There was a dry place to store our bikes right next to the accommodation, and the location worked perfectly for trips along the coast.

Villa Glaeser has an unbeatable location. We felt very comfortable in the spacious, modern apartment, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We’d love to return.

The building is architecturally charming and has been modernized successfully. The sauna area is spacious, though the sauna takes quite a while to heat up. Our apartment, number 35, didn’t work for us. The website says it suits a family of four, but the kitchen is in a loggia and becomes practically unusable when the sofa is folded out as a bed, since it takes up all the space. It’s also far too narrow for two teenagers. The listing shows two bedrooms, but the second one, apartment 36, has to be booked separately, which felt misleading. Even with the window closed, noise went on for a long time in the evenings because the apartment faces Seestraße. On the second evening we couldn’t air the place out for a long time because someone across the street was using a smelly smoker. Paying €450 for two nights left a bad taste, even with the central location. The basic kitchen and bathroom supply packs were a plus.

The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious and clean. There’s a bakery right across the street, which was handy. Just be careful booking through Booking.com: maybe I didn’t look closely enough, but we thought we’d booked a holiday apartment and ended up in a flat. It wasn’t a big deal, though the neighbors were separated from us only by a door, so it was a bit noisy.
