Villa Lindemann

The place smelled musty, the furniture was broken, and the Wi-Fi barely worked, if it worked at all. It took ages for the water to get hot, and the cleaning wasn't good. We booked and paid for three people but were given only two beds. Never again.

The furnishings felt outdated and, in our opinion, should be replaced. The mattresses were worn out, and there wasn't really a living room or sofa. The only TV was in the very large bedroom. For three people staying a week, not even two rolls of single-ply toilet paper were provided, which clearly wasn't enough.

We'd still recommend Apartment 7.1 at Heringsdorf, Lindemannstraße 2, booked via Maja Usedom, and would rent it again. It's a high-quality apartment with a comfortable, well-planned layout. Some furniture and the flooring are worn, though, and the place feels a bit dated, which takes away from the comfort. A few small repairs could sort those things out.

The receptionist was very nice and did her best to communicate in German. The accommodation itself is nice, but the bathroom has black mold that needs urgent attention. The shower could have been cleaner, and there were crumbs left in the fridge by the previous guest. A soap dispenser would be useful. The towels were very stiff, and the sheet on the extra bed was badly damaged. The heating at night was awful for a light sleeper. It started several times during the night, making a lot of noise as it refilled, emptied, pumped, or whatever it was doing. The parking lot is quite a distance from the accommodation.
