The Harz National Park setting made this a great place to stay over New Year. We really enjoyed it, and our room felt cozy and was clean, with bright white bed linen.

It’s good value for a nice room and a simple breakfast. You’ll need to eat dinner somewhere else, though. I’d recommend arriving by car, since it makes it easy to visit different places around the Harz during the day.
