Hotel Hiddensee Hitthim

There was so much fish in the soup, and it was hot, comforting and delicious. It cost 7.90 Euro. I'd love to come back for it.

I ended up paying €22 for really bad food because I couldn't read any of the menu, which had no English at all. The staff were nice and friendly, but they don't speak English either. Their restaurant sucks.

We only went for dinner, not to stay at the hotel. The food tasted fine, and the seating can be cute if you like the style, but the options felt limited and some dishes, especially the meat, seemed premade, frozen after prep, or just reheated. It wasn't bad at its core, just not the restaurant quality I've had elsewhere in Kloster. Service was good, though nothing special. It's a decent spot, but there are better places in Kloster.

The location on Hiddensee is beautiful, but the stay fell short for us as a family, and we can't recommend it. The restaurant was only about 17 degrees Celsius, too cold for a comfortable meal, and even our children left the chilly dining area for the slightly warmer room instead of sitting with us to play games in the evening. At breakfast, sand from the previous day was still under the tables, and cleanliness overall wasn't what we'd expect at this price. Breakfast also felt limited and uninspired, with no fresh fruit and little variety. The service staff seemed overwhelmed, with disorganized routines and little attention to guests. The service, cleanliness, atmosphere and family-friendliness weren't up to par.
