Our apartment was roomy and lovely, and the staff member there was helpful and friendly. The hotel is dog-friendly, in a central but quiet spot, and breakfast was fine for the price. The smell around the entrance and breakfast area was really unpleasant. Everything looked clean and cared for, so we couldn't figure out where it came from. We were there during a storm with heavy rain, and water came in through the leaky window in apartment number six.

It was nicely furnished and mostly fine, but the windows let in a draft because they don't shut properly. The kitchen cupboards and balcony furniture were worn, which felt like shortcomings for the price. There was also a lot of traffic on the main road while we were there, so it didn't really have that Hiddensee holiday feeling for me. We'll stay in Kloster or Neuendorf next time.

The staff were really friendly, and breakfast was okay. But the cheese spread was well past its date. The rooms seemed to have had only a surface clean, and there was a very strange smell in the lobby.

The island is a dream, as always, and we had a very nice apartment. The staff were so friendly, the sauna was excellent, and dogs are welcome. We'd happily come back next year.

The house is in an excellent spot, about 500 meters from both the harbor and the lovely Baltic Sea beach. It made a great base for our bike rides. Our apartment was very nice and had everything we needed. The little kitchenette was a real highlight. The sauna was out of service because of technical problems, but we didn't really need it.
