Hotel Garni - Dahlbrucher Hof

Breakfast had plenty of choice, and the staff were friendly. I booked at short notice and, since no single room was free, they gave me a reduced price for a twin room. I arrived in the evening after regular hours, called, and got a code to collect the keys from a box by the door. That worked neatly.

We were very happy with our stay and would definitely come back. The place is right in the center, with a small cinema, pharmacy and other things within walking distance. It’s a historic house with a few oddities, including crooked walls, but it mixes rustic charm with modern comforts nicely. The colorful breakfast room was lovely, and the buffet was good. They were also happy to handle special requests.

Breakfast was excellent, and the late check-in was a real help. The staff were very friendly. Even though the hotel is on the main road, it was fairly quiet at night. The bathroom could have been cleaned more carefully, but that was the only drawback.

Breakfast was generous and tasty, served in a bright, welcoming room with thoughtful decor. The staff were friendly and accommodating. My room was basic but very clean. A couple of small fixes were needed: the towel rack was loose, and there was no bathroom hook for a bathrobe.
