A nice place with really lovely staff. The stay and food both felt fairly priced for the quality.

The area is beautiful, everything was clean and tidy, breakfast was great, and the staff were very nice. I'd definitely recommend the place and will come back. If you're going to Mera Luna Festival without a car, getting there takes a while, but it's an easy trip: take the shuttle bus to the Shuestrasse, then another bus, followed by a pleasant 5-10 minute walk through a park. The whole trip takes about half an hour to 45 minutes.

Getting from the parking area to the hotel means crossing without a pedestrian zone. Rooms were clean and quiet, and the people were nice. The highway connection is good, but there aren't shops nearby, so I had to find something to eat in town. The kitchen was closed on Tuesday, breakfast was poor, and the Wi-Fi was poor too.

I come here whenever I'm in town for the Hanover trade show (Hanover Messe). The hotel is simple but clean, with comfortable rooms that are more than decent. Breakfast is included and great for the reasonable room price, and the restaurant serves local food with plenty of venison. There are pleasant trails by the channel for walking, jogging, or riding, plus a nature preserve less than 1 km away. Transport to Hildesheim train station is right under the hotel.
