I only needed a night while driving across Europe, somewhere close to the autobahn. It was about a 10 minute drive away, but once there it felt like the middle of nowhere. This is a lovely little hideaway in a quaint village, with picturesque countryside around it. I brought food and ate earlier in the day since there isn't much nearby in the way of shops or restaurants. I'd definitely come back to explore the local area.

A quiet, out-of-the-way spot that works well for a night or a few. Breakfast was very nice, and the price was great for the quality :-)

The staff seemed to be waiting for us when we arrived. Merseburg was conveniently located for exploring, and the area had beautiful views along with plenty of history and nostalgia.
