Having the railway station so close made it easy to head toward Stade, Hamburg or Cuxhafen. We also appreciated the secure garage for our e-bikes, and there’s a bar and restaurant at the hotel. A very nice stay, and we’d come back.

Breakfast was included, and I enjoyed the tasty schnitzel with a local beer. A very nice place.

We were there as a wedding group of 18, and the meal was a real letdown. We’d agreed on a price of X per person in advance, but the roulades arrived with bacon even though we had ordered them without it. The chef seemed to have noticed, since each roulade had been cut in half, yet nobody told us about the problem. We were still charged the full price, with no apology or offer to make it right. I’d give this place zero stars if I could. Very disappointing, absolutely not recommended.

The adjoining inn served delicious schnitzel, and the room and food were very reasonably priced. Our room was well equipped, including its own bathroom, and we were very impressed. We’d definitely stay there again if we’re in the area.
