Ibis Budget Augsburg Gersthofen

The worst part was how Chaintar Sinomati dealt with us over the toilet seat in the Handicap Accessible room. He came across as arrogant and insensitive, and couldn't even say whether it would be fixed. There were roaches and spiders, the carpet was dirty, towels weren't changed, and the trash was left behind.

The Turkish restaurant next door was fantastic, and the staff here were friendly and doing their best. But the hotel needs maintenance throughout. We had three rooms booked and none was satisfactory. One had a TV that looked like someone had punched it, and the walls were so thin we could hear neighbors chatting and snoring. Unless you're really desperate, go somewhere else.

A big parking lot and bars, supermarkets, and restaurants nearby were convenient. The room was quiet, and the hotel was clean enough, with towels changed daily. Staff were very kind and helpful, especially the young guy. The price was very low.

The connecting room door was unlocked, and none of the light switches by the beds worked. On arrival, the automatic check-in wasn't working, so I had to call for help.
